Decks are a funny thing — the worse they look, the more hesitant
we are as homeowners to do anything about them.
Perhaps this is because deck refinishing conjures up visions of hot
summer days spent on your hands and knees, endlessly scrubbing and
sanding the old deck. And, of course, most of us would rather spend
the summer months actually enjoying the deck, rather than taking it
out of commission for weeks on end to clean and refinish it.
